AGI’s Hi Roller Enclosed Belt Conveyors are optimal for dry bulk products, like grains, pulses and feeds that have low moisture levels or products that require gentle handling. The enclosed belt conveyor is totally enclosed, reducing the dust emissions you typically find with open belt conveyors. Built with rubber flip- pers that attach to the tail pulley, they work to lift and direct spilt material against a stationary deflector that then reloads onto the carrying surface of the belt. The AGI Hi Roller enclosed belt conveyor can deliver ca- pacities up to 3800 metric tons per hour. In the Ukraine AGI installed a series of Hi Roller conveyors with two-way discharges and also reclaim conveyors, Model 42 Hi Roller conveyors with 750 metric tons per hour capacities were installed above the silos and Model 54 Hi Life reclaim con- veyors transferred product out to the ship loader at 1500 metric tons per hour. From port facilities to food processing plants, AGI pro- vides customers with the right conveying solutions for the project. AGI recently supplied the material handling equipment for a pea processing plant in the United States. AGI Tramco supplied a Bulk-Flo L-Path conveyor with multiple inlets for rail receiving, a long Bulk-Flo L-Path conveyor with a discharge height of 8 metres and a short Model-G Conveyor to transfer peas from the rail receiv- ing. A Model G conveyor with multiple discharges are used for filling the hopper tanks and a very long Bulk-Flo S-Path conveyor with a discharge height of 16.7 metres is used for reclaiming the pea storage hopper tanks and transferring them to process. All conveyors were handling split peas and were food-grade specified.
